Make the most of a property visit

Architectural rendering of residential towers at dusk

A site visit is an opportunity to understand how a property feels in everyday use. A little preparation helps you remember the details afterward.

Before you go

Confirm the location, appointment and contact person. Bring your shortlist of requirements so you can compare what you see with what you need.

During the visit

Look at the layout, natural light, approach and shared spaces. Ask which features are included and which may differ from photographs or renderings. Take photographs only with permission.

After the visit

Write down your impressions while they are fresh. Separate what you observed from what still needs confirmation, then share your follow-up questions with your contact.
